The leaves are big, green, and glossy - just what you want from a decorative garden shrub, with the potential to grow tree-like, up to an impressive 5m tall. Plus, this isn't a plant you'll be waiting around to feel impressed by, as it arrives as an established statement plant, already more than 1m tall. Whether planted en masse as hedging or alone as a shapely specimen plant, the hardy 'Novita' Prunus laurocerasus is a versatile treat and a perfect addition to more-or-less any garden scheme, size, or style.Spring brings a scattering of dainty white flowers, regularly followed by clusters of ornamental, dark red berries in autumn, which birds will happily pick off the plant.
