Nippon Ichi Software created and released the strategic position title Disgaea
2: Cursed Memories for the PlayStation 2 gaming system. Disgaea 2 is the
PlayStation 2 version of the 2003 video Game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
Additionally, it is Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice on the PlayStation 3's
precursor.
Disgaea 2 contains an animation introductory cinematic and is on DVD-ROM, in
contrast to Nippon Ichi's earlier titles.
In Japan, it was re-published on the PlayStation Portable as Disgaea 2
