Homefront is a representative of the popular first person shooter genre. The game, developed by KAOS Studios, the authors of the well-received Frontlines: Fuel of War, follows the convention of a modern war movie, supplemented by a refined multiplayer mode.
Story
The plot of Homefront, outlined by the American screenwriter John Milius (the creator of the script for, among others, Apocalypse Now), was set in 2027 and tells the events that take place ten years after the economic collapse of the United States. In the production, we play the role of a member of the American resistance movement fighting the invader, whose role in the game is played by the North Korean army. During the clashes, we are constantly accompanied by three companions - Hooper, Connor and Rianna, who support us in the fight against the occupant. However, it should be noted that we have no influence on their actions. In addition, resistance groups and even the US military join the fight from time to time. Homefront offers us not only a well-defined single player game mode, but also an extensive multiplayer with support for dedicated servers.
