During the game, we lead one of the factions to take full control of this desert globe, and thus - Melange deposits, as Prince Leto Atryda or Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, among others. It is only up to us how we achieve our goal.GameplayIn Dune: Spice Wars we watch the action from a bird's eye view. While playing, we focus primarily on extracting the spice. By sending ornithopters for reconnaissance, we gradually discover the map, and learn the location of the Melange deposits, to which we can then send reapers designed for its extraction. We sell the accumulated resources, and the obtained funds can be used to expand our headquarters, improve technology, and finally recruit soldiers. We need a powerful army both to defend our lands against the attempts of our enemies and to conquer new territories. With the latter, however, it is worth bearing in mind that aggressive behavior does not necessarily please the Emperor who wields the highest power in this universe, and thus - ultimately can bring us trouble. Therefore, diplomacy is often a better solution, as well as plotting various political intrigues.
