Borderlands 3 is a 2019 action role-playing first-person shooter video game developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K. It is the fourth main installment in the Borderlands series, following Borderlands 2 (2012) and taking place five years after the events of that game. The game is set on the planet of Pandora, where players take on the role of one of four Vault Hunters, who are tasked with stopping the Calypso Twins, a pair of cult leaders who are trying to open the Great Vault. The game features a variety of gameplay elements, including shooting, looting, and exploration.
