Threezero x Takayuki Takeya Densetsu Kyojin Ideon ThreezeroX is the high-end line from threezero which invites different renown artists from around the world to redesign action figures according to their own unique styles. With more than five years in designing, sculpting and development, threezero proudly presents the second release of this acclaimed line: threezeroX Takayuki Takeya Ideon! Threezero x Takayuki Takeya Densetsu Kyojin Ideon The design and the original sculpt of the threezeroX Ideon was made by the famous Japanese figure sculptor, Takayuki Takeya. Based on the 1980's classic anime Space Runaway Ideon directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino who is the creator of Mobile Suit Gundam, Takeya has redesigned the protagonist's robot emphasizing the concept of the robot that it is an ancient relic of the mysterious "6th Civilization," which is a long-time extinct extraterrestrial being. To emphasize that Ideon is a created by a technology far different from that of humans, Takeya has added delicate geometric patterns on the surface, which is alien to human eyes and creates an ambiguity on whether it has any functional meaning or is only decoration. As for the whole form, while keeping the distinctive elements of the original anime version Ideon, Takeya has exaggerated it to look more like a creation of an alien culture. Even with these highly creative redesigns, once the iconic red and white colors are applied, threezeroX Takayuki Takeya Ideon is instantly recognizable as the classic anime robot Ideon.threezeroX Takayuki Takeya Ideon collectible figure stands approximately 46cm (18") tall to the shoulders or approximately 42cm tall (16.5") to the top of the head, and is fully-articulated with over 125 points of articulation including the individual fingers. A unique internal die-cast metal frame is utilized to give this large-sized figure a stable and firm range of movement. LED light-up features are installed at over 5 areas of the figure including the eyes, Ideon Gauges, and Ideon Sword emission holes at the wrists. Detailed paint treatments have been applied to replicate the original painted model made by Takeya. The zinc alloy die-cast interior frame provides a total of approximately 76 points of articulation. threezero's notable layered paint techniques and weathering effects are applied to the figure, creating an impressively detailed surface. ROBO-DOU Scopedog includes many interactive features to increase playability. The visor at the head, cockpit hatch at the chest, and maintenance hatch at the stomach can all be lifted open to show the cockpit inside, where the figurine of Chirico Cuvie in pilot suit can be placed. The "Turret Lens" on the visor of ROBO-DOU Scopedog can rotate to replicate the different zoom features of the camera. Both forearms can be extended for the "Arm Punch" attack feature, and its legs can be transformed to take the crouching mode. Additionally, each foot has a tire for the "Roller Dash" feature installed at the sole, which deploys when the front tip of the foot is lifted up. Furthermore, the "Turn Pick" at the side of each foot can be extended. There is a Polymer-Ringer Liquid exchange vent's slide hatch detail applied at the back of the hip, and also there is a Polymer-Ringer Liquid Neutralizer tank's detail applied at the bottom of the hip. Accessories include a "GAT-22 Heavy Machine Gun" and total of three magazines for the Heavy Machine Gun. The magazines can be attached to the Heavy Machine Gun and the side armors of the hip. Additional accessories consist of a colored non-articulated pilot figurine of Chirico Cuvie, a shell case ejection effect piece for Arm Punch (which can be attached to the discharging port at the forearms), and total of three pairs of interchangeable hands.

The figure is approximately 7" (18cm) tall, with over 46 points of articulation and a die-cast zinc alloy and engineer-grade plastic internal frame system. Accessories include one laser blaster, one blaster rifle, and eight sets of interchangeable hands. The laser blaster and rifle can combine into a photon eliminator rifle. The right Shattered Glass Rodimus Unicronus handshake piece is designed to pair with the included Shattered Glass Optimus Prime handshake piece for posing together. MDLX Shattered Glass Optimus Prime is sold separately.
