Albert Biehl: The Elements Of Piano Playing Op.30
Albert Biehl (1835-1899) was a prolific German composer, who published over 200 works for the Piano. While his was highly popular during his lifetime, he has since fallen into obscurity, with only a few of his pieces still being performed regularly. In The Elements Of Piano Playing (Op. 30), Biehl sets out a series of exercises, designed to help the pianist develop complete control over all of his or her fingers, and to use the precise amount of force required on each key.
