L’innovativa e rivoluzionaria catena Regina Z-Ring High Performance Endurance (HPE) a passo 520 senza manutenzione permette di eliminare la ri-lubrificazione periodica effettuata dal motociclista ogni 1.000 km. Numerose prove di laboratorio e su strada dimostrano che la catena HPE raggiunge una vita utile almeno equivalente, se non superiore, a quella di una tradizionale catena Z-Ring regolarmente ri-lubrificata. Il rivestimento Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon(ta-C), hydrogen free, attualmente considerato il più avanzato tra i rivestimenti DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), viene applicato sulle superfici delle bussole e dei rulli della catena HPE. Il rivestimento ta-C, coniugando l’elevata durezza della superficie rivestita con un basso coefficiente di attrito, permette di ridurre la dissipazione di energia nella trasmissione secondaria e ne aumenta quindi l’efficienza. L’eliminazione delle operazioni di pulizia della catena e degli schizzi di lubrificante durante la marcia minimizzano l’impatto ambientale. L’innovativo processo di rivestimento ta-C è stato sviluppato con un intenso lavoro di R&D dei tecnici Regina ed è interamente svolto nello stabilimento di Cernusco Lombardone (LC) in Italia. La trasmissione con catena Regina HPE non necessita l’impiego di corone e pignoni speciali ed elimina la lubrificazione periodica.

The innovative and revolutionary Regina Z-Ring High Performance Endurance (HPE) chain eliminates the periodic re-lubrication performed by the motorcyclist every 1,000 km. Numerous laboratory and road tests show that the HPE chain achieves a useful life at least equivalent, if not greater, than that of a traditional, regularly re-lubricated Z-Ring chain. The hydrogen free Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C) coating, currently considered the most advanced of the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings, is applied to the surfaces of the bushings and rollers of the HPE chain. The ta-C coating, combining the high hardness of the coated surface with a low coefficient of friction, reduces the dissipation of energy in the secondary transmission and therefore increases its efficiency. The elimination of chain cleaning operations and lubricant splashes while driving minimize the environmental impact. The innovative ta-C coating process was developed with intense R & amp; D work by Regina technicians and is entirely carried out in the Cernusco Lombardone (LC) plant in Italy. The transmission with Regina HPE chain does not require the use of special crowns and pinions and eliminates periodic lubrication.
