This third volume of the Supplement Series supplying the Main Volumes of the series "Perfluorohalogenoorgano Compounds of Main Group Elements", Part 1 to 9, completes the treatment of the compounds of the Main Group VI elements. It covers sulfur(IV) compounds, sulfonic acids, sulfonic anhydrides, and sulfonates, sulfur(VI) oxides, sulfonyl nitrogen compounds, sulfonyl halides, sulfur(VI) halides, and the compounds of selenium and tellurium. It also includes the perfluorohalogenoorgano compounds of iodine in oxidation states higher than one and contains a formula index for the Supplement Volumes 1, 2, and 3. The Supplement Series will be concluded by the description of the nitrogen compounds. Concept, organization, and selection as to the coverage of the material are the same as in the Main Volumes. Title compounds are newly synthesized ones as well as those compounds already referred to in the Main Volumes and for which new facts have been published. Conventions as to the presentation of the data are given in the prefaces of the Main Volumes. In contrast to the convention for NMR chemical shifts used previously, chemical shifts downfield from the standard are designated as positive, according to the recommendations of the IUPAC Commission on Molecular Structure and Spectroscopy (Pure and Applied Chemistry 29 [1972]625/8, 45 [1976] 217/9). This entry describes the experimental work conducted in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College in connection with Test Problems 1 and 2 of the "Workshop on Hypersonic Flows for Reentry Problems, Part I". These are defined as follows: Test Problem 1 Flow Over a Slender Cone Test Problem 2 Turbulent Base Flow The main requirement of this text is to present the experimental data for direct comparison with the predictions of CFD codes. We have therefore concentrated mainly on a factual statement of measuring techniques and results, together with an assessment of experimental accuracy. Future publications will be devoted to more extensive physical interpretations and discussions of the results. We have produced a large volume of data, some of which were categorised as "MANDATORY" and some as "OPTIONAL" for the purposes of CFD validation. However, only the "MANDATORY" data are presented here, although the other data are available and will be published separately later. 2. EXPERIMENTAL ARRANGEMENT 2. 1 The Test Facility The experiments were conducted in the Imperial College No. 2 Gun tunnel. This facility is a conventional intermittent blowdown tunnel with a contoured Mach 9 (nominal) axisymmetric nozzle fed by a free piston compression heater. From this, both the classical-antique diatonic is simultaneously extracted and the path "from the monochord to the organ" is re-examined. Finally, the work contains a mathematically guided introduction to the ancient tetrachordics as well as to the church tonal scales and concludes with an excursion into the sound worlds of the organ. Here the "foot-number rule of the organ" leads us by means of examples into the world of the tonal dispositions of this instrument and shows the omnipresence of the ancient theory of proportions. This book is suitable for anyone with an interest in mathematics and music. This book is a translation of the original German 1st edition Proportionen und ihre Musik by Karlheinz Schüffler, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature in 2019. The description of the unbridged disubstituted ferrocenes was initiated with lO a 1 2 "Organoiron Compounds" A, Ferrocene 7 (starting with R and R containing C and Hand 1 containing halogen at least in R\ and continuing with compounds containing 0 at least in R to form alcohols and phenols, their esters, ethers, acetals, and aldehydes), and was foltowed 1 by "Organoiron Compounds" A, Ferrocene 8 (with at least R containing 0). "Organoiron 1 Compounds" A, Ferrocene 9 treated compounds in wh ich at least R contains N, S, Se, B, or Si. This volume now comprises the rest of the disubstituted ferrocenes containing P, As, or a 1 metal at least in R . Beyond that it includes the description of alt the mononuclear unbridged trisubstituted ferrocenes, FeClOH7R1R2R3. Series A so far comprises volumes A 1 to A 10 and has been surveyed in the preface to A 7 (1980). The data in tables are given in abbreviated form without dimensions; for dimensions, explanations, and further abbreviations used, see p. X (next page). Additional remarks are given in the headings of the tables where necessary.

Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts, which has appeared in semi-annual volumes since 1969, is de­ voted to the recording, summarizing and indexing of astronomical publications throughout the world. It is prepared under the auspices of the International Astronomical Union (according to a resolution adopted at the 14th General Assembly in 1970). Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts aims to present a comprehensive documentation of literature in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics. Every effort will be made to ensure that the average time interval between the date of receipt of the original literature and publication of the abstracts will not exceed eight months. This time interval is near to that achieved by monthly abstracting journals, com­ pared to which our system of accumulating abstracts for about six months offers the advantage of greater convenience for the user. Volume 9 contains literature published in 1973 and received before August 15, 1973; some older liter­ ature which was received late and which is not recorded in earlier volumes is also included. We acknowledge with thanks contributions to this volume by Dr. J. Bouska, who surveyed journals and publications in the Czech language and supplied us with abstracts in English, and by the Common­ wealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (C.S.I.R.O.), Sydney, for providing titles and abstracts of papers on radio astronomy.
