Tom Dixon Wingback Micro Armchair Gentle 193
Design: Tom Dixon Concept: The characteristic, undulating curves of the design enable designers to place the Wingback armchair in the middle of the room as a sculptural intervention, rather than simply as seating. The wings on the furniture act as practical sound insulation for using mobile phones and as a headrest for short rests. The series is an updated version of British classics that have been reinterpreted and adapted for the 21st century. The chair was inspired by the traditional wingback and balloon back furniture of the 17th century and was created especially for the members of the Shoreditch House Members Club. It is available in a variety of materials and colors.
