A Freely Chosen Card vanishes from the Deck. The Deck then turns completely blank while their Chosen Card appears wherever you want. This sounds crazy, but watch the trailer. There is no switch happening. This is like our Award Winning effect Get Sharky, but with this extra twist where the deck turns completely blank. The magician riffles through the deck until the spectator tells him to stop. At this random position the spectator remembers the card. Without any suspicious moves the magician turns the deck completely blank. (The deck can even be dealt onto the table, one card at a time, as there is no rough and smooth principle involved!) Everyone knows and loves the game of Roulette, so it's the perfect vehicle to connect with your audience using a familiar theme. Building on our previous Mechanic Decks, we've flip-book-animated the Roulette wheel. This not only allows you add narrative and create some truly amazing new magic tricks using the countdown / spell to principle, it also doubles up as an easy to use marking system. The court cards have been customised with Roulette motifs such as the rake, the ball and of course the cash! Expertly illustrated to blend seamlessly with the classic artwork, these really finish the deck off. We've included two 'Erdnase' style Croupier Jokers. One holding the ball and one in a 'just thrown the ball' pose. Mechanic Casino Edition Roulette Playing Cards are printed on premium crushed USPCC stock so they handle like a dream. TRICK LIST Straight Up The spectator selects a card, this is their 'bet'. It's lost and mixed in the deck. The Roulette wheel spins and spins and they call 'stop' - the deck is cut exactly there. The ball has stopped on a number... the spectator counts down that number to reveal their selected card. Congratulations you win!! Split bet A similar concept to 'Straight up' but with 2 selections, they make a combination bet with their selected cards which are lost in seperate parts of the deck. The roulette wheel spins and wherever they say stop the deck is cut. You count down the number of cards that the ball has stopped on to reveal one card - a combination of their two initial cards (ie 2+8=10) The card is then immediately and visually split back into their original bets. This packs some powerful magical moments with a deviously constructed kicker. Red or Black? We teach a couple of visually stunning colour changing deck sequences as well as an easy to do Monte trick. If you pick up more than one deck, you will have multiple red back cards to play with to perform your favourite colour changing deck routines. Marking System We go in depth on how to use the marking system, so you'll be up and running in no time. There's multiple ways to read the backs and you can now tell the value even in a spread without seeing the whole card ie. distinctive marks in the top left corner. The Mechanic We share some of our work on how a card cheat 'could' use this system in a card game. Deal winning hands every time and influence every part of the game. There is no such thing as luck with this deck. Lucky Thought An experiment with luck... The spectator shuffles the deck, then cuts and keeps half, the performer keeps the other half. You both choose a random card and shuffle into your half of the pack. You then switch packs and not only does the performer guess which card was chosen, the audience member guesses correctly which card the performer chose, very lucky! House Edge We teach you two prediction style tricks, one using just the box gaff and then an amazing piece of magic that combines the box gaff with the Croupier Jokers. The Croupier A similar concept to our Grind Out Jokers. This time we've illustrated the Jokers in a 'Ernase' style Croupier hands; one holding a ball, the other throwing the ball. This allows for some great tricks using colour changes to activate the animation. They can still be used as two regular Jokers for your existing Joker tricks. All tricks have been designed with specific gambling style patter to enhance and theme your presentations. With nearly 2hrs of detailed instruction, we teach basic handlings for each plot and offer advice as to where you can switch out sleights depending on your skill level. When I was growing up in west Texas, the 4th was a magical day. I distinctively remember my mother would kiss me good-by as I rolled out the front door. I would get on my BMX bike and hit the streets of Canyon, Texas. I would spend the next hour or so riding around the entire city as I would stop at all of my buddy's houses as our small group became a rowdy bike-riding gang, set on enjoying the day and getting a sunburn. After gathering our "the boyz" we made our way to the local park, to not miss any of the festivities. We knew we were close when we caught the smell of burning charcoal and the laughter of other kids as they threw water balloons to cut the edge of the hot summer sun. After spending the entire day drinking Capri Suns and filling our guts with backyard cheeseburgers we set back on the freshly cut grass to watch the fireworks. For those few moments, as the explosion of color took place in the sky, all other thoughts faded away, as the love of my country, friends, and family overtook me. The Made in The USA decks is inspired by those feelings. It is inspired by the smell of the cool summer air the fond memories of frustration as my mother made me put more sunscreen on. I'm so thankful for the freedoms and liberties we have in the United States and hope that even a stack of paper in the form of playing cards can sustain those memories for just a little longer. - Jackson Each deck is sealed and numbered up to 1,776. Here is a great set of Gaff Cards! - A card is selected and shuffled back into the deck. A femail spectator blows a kiss towards the deck. Magically her kiss finds the selected card and appears on it! - A prediction card is put on the table. Now the spectator is asked to roll a die, add the number that comes out with the number on the opposite side of the die, and divide the total by two. Unfortunately the outcome is three and a half so it seems impossible that the prediction card could be right… until it is turned over to show that it is a three and a half! - You show a card, saying that it has just been printed and the paint is still fresh ... you then proceed to magically completely smuge it! - Show a card, then quickly shake it so that the spectators can now just see a blurred image. When you stop shaking the card will continued to look blurred! - Show a queen of hearts, a stroke and it starts fading away. With another stroke it fades away even further. With a last stroke the queen fades away completely, leaving behind just a white card! - A card is selected by a spectator. You then bring attention to an envelope (not supplied), proudly announcing that inside it there is the spectators selected card! When the envelope is opened there is a card with all 52 cards printed on it! After a small joke, the card is turned over, and on the other side… is the spectator’s selection! - After apparently findinfìg the wrong card, the magician smugges the corner of a card changing it into the card selected by the spectator! The set includes: kiss card - 3 and a half spades - fresh paint card - blurred card - fade out queen - 52 cards on one with climax - metamorphosis index card.
