F for Fulton Limited Edition

F for Fulton Limited Edition

This commemorative deck of playing cards was designed specifically for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of FULTONS Playing Cards as a companion piece to "Clip Joint 10" with an updated history and narrative companionship. In the late 1970s the Magic Bar & Club known as "F for Fulton" was born. Los Angeles is known for The Magic Castle--but many forget that 'F for Fulton" was a popular spot for many underground magicians--as well as the first place The Buck Twins tested the room for Cardistry as child performers. Known for good times, smoky rooms and their signature drink, The Sunset Blvd, this place was too good to last forever. Here at Fulton's we have the last known supply of their house playing cards. Sure to be your favorite deck, "F for Fulton"--remember that. This marks the first of the CLUB 37 Series to celebrate over TEN YEARS of FULTONS. Over the next few years we will be producing numerous decks that pay tribute to the origins of custom playing card decks. F for Fulton and other CLUB 37 Classics come housed in a commemorative tuck printed on vintage letterpress machines at the famous Clove St Press in San Diego, California. The tuck is a "Fultonized" take on the original Custom Division Tuck used decades ago by the US Playing Card Co-the only card printer of FULTONS Playing Cards. Can you find all the details hidden in our version of this classic tuck? The Back Design of F for FULTON pays homage to one of Fultons Favorite Decks (and magicians) , Tom Mullica's Tom Foolery. RIP Tom, and this one's for you. Limited to 700 Decks in this exciting burgundy colorway with a metallic gold letterpressed tuck designed to showcase the rich history of FULTONS Playing Cards.

Shooters Collector's Edition White

Shooters Collector's Edition White

From the Dutch Card House Company, comes Shooter f/1.2, a set of playing cards combining the passions for professional photography and clean graphic designing. Printed by the USPCC. The deck is a collaboration with Matt Fujiwara and brilliantly mimics the aesthetics of a camera. The card back features icons that can be found and recognized by any camera owner or operator (shooter). Classic icons like, battery level display, settings, brightness, flash, or self-timer, just to name a few. The red border was created to keep that "red ring" theme throughout the deck. Red metallic ink can be found on the back design and faces of the cards. The court cards are pretty much standard but splashed intricately with camera icons. Custom-designed Jokers contain what resembles the control wheel found on most cameras. All four Aces have enlarged pips with the cross-hair in the center. The Ace of Spades design was meant to look like what you would normally see on a camera display. The tuck was designed to mimic the aesthetics of a DSLR camera lens (a.k.a "Glass") while displaying information more related to playing cards. The red ring around the tuck mimics a professional line of lenses, known as Red Rings, which are classified as a higher grade of glass. This deck was created to spark the urge for shooters to get out and shoot. Three editions available: Black workers deck - Crushed stock White special edition - Tuck with embossing and 2 color foil print Black special edition - Tuck with embossing, 2 color foil print and numbered seal.

Bicycle Legacy Blue

Bicycle Legacy Blue

Ellusionist has revived the famed Blue Bicycle Masters that we know and love There's something comforting about familiarity. We use the same toothpaste every day, eat the same meals each week and drive the same brand of car for up to a decade. Some live by the rule "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." This goes further, as magicians, many of us use the same Bicycle Rider Back deck for all of our magic. We refuse to change. However, that brings in a new problem. If we never make a change, how can we experience something better? That's where the Bicycle Legacy Masters come in. In 2009, Ellusionist debuted a new stock from USPCC on the traditional 'Bicycle Rider Back' design. It was better but still looked the same... We called them MASTERS. The design was indistinguishable from a standard Bicycle Rider deck, but the feel - oh the feel was to die for. As we write this now, the sweet smell of nostalgia is filling the air. We remember the exact 'crack' as the tuck case was rushed open to get at those cards... Some of us only put them down to eat or visit the bathroom. Back then, our goal was sustainability, not feel. Today, the new Bicycle Legacy Masters achieves both. These cards are like a finely aged wine. You'd never know by just looking it at, it looks the same as any other bottle - or in this example, a standard $3 Costco deck, but in both cases, it's all in the experience. The all-American stock is crushed to perfection. The process increases density. Same fibers, just compacted. This gives a thin, but durable card stock for die-hards and workers. You'll quit before the deck does. Each tuck is lovingly updated with a proud American eagle and metallic gold-ink accents to hint at its premium pedigree. While the faces are improved, they've been specifically designed to have minimal changes... for good reason. Initially, big changes make a big difference, but as the number of changes goes up, the effectiveness of those changes is decreased. We've focused on only the important things. Inside-tuck printing is out, embossing is out. Those aren't the things that matter in a deck like this and they add the most cost. A front-line deck benefits the most from feel, so that's exactly where we put our attention. Legacy Masters are the same Blue Rider Back design you know and love, but better.
