Cluster communicators allow the system designer full flexibility in selecting the locations of wireless devices anywhere in the system.A cluster communicator comprises of a radio transceiver capable of communicating with up to 30 wireless devices. The ZCR868-C communicates directly to a ZCR452 connected to a conventional interface relaying all messages from the wireless field devices.Every wireless device controlled through a cluster communicator has its own unique address with which the cluster communicator communicates with it providing the same system capabilities as directly wired devices. A full range of wireless detection and alarm devices is available including multi-sensors capable of dual sensing heat and smoke smoke only or heat only configurations manual call points notification devices sounders beacons as well as inputoutput units and remote indicators.When connected to a conventional interface the specific device message is translated into a general zone message for reporting to the CIE.
