The noble log has been used as a stool or side table for centuries, and Young & Battaglia add their twist to this classic and humble object. The beautiful irregular imperfections of wood grain and tree bark are translated into iconic graphical characters for 'madam' and for 'monsieur'. This friendly faced, upholstered ottoman takes its cue from the phrase 'Sleep like a log', bringing an air of peacefulness and quiet to the bedroom or living room. The design is digitally printed on to fabric, and then upholstered on to a simple round cylindrical form. They are available in black on white, or white on black. One of Young and Battaglia's early lighting designs, the 'Little Crush' was was featured in the original interior of the Starck designed Mama shelter in Paris 2009. The sculptural design of the Little Crush table lamp was revisited in 2015, made with hand blown glass and introduced in to the Mineheart lighting range. As well as the original black finish, the Little Crush Bottle table lamp now available in 5 new metallic and coloured glass finishes including, polished mirror gold, polished mirror silver (chrome), gloss white, gloss blue and gloss taupe. Supplied with 2 metre cable with a switch.Materials: Glass, fabric lampshade with a reflective copper colour lining. Max 100 Watts.
