Specially formulated using natural pigments, resins & extracts, their palette of 16 beautiful shades apply semi-transparent & dry to a smooth, attractive matt finish.
Sharing traits of both watercolour & gouache for a consistency unique to the HORADAM Naturals, it's highly recommended to experiment & familiarise yourself with the range first.
For instance, natural pigments are coarser in texture, which produces a rougher granulation effect more typical of a watercolour.
However, their more viscous consistency allows for additional control, comparable to gouache.
Some colours, such as Curcuma and Stil de Grain, have similar characteristics to watercolours & high glazing properties, offering a wide range of colours.
While Curcuma enables yellow to orange colour strokes, Stil de Grain has a yellow-green to greenish-brown colour.
