Hazards and Cautions Lower Age Limit Advisory - Years 6 Possible side effects: Like all medicines, Peroxyl® can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, these may include: minor irritation and swelling of the mouth, injury to the gums, black stain on the tongue and a feeling that your tongue is hairy. You are more likely to experience these side effects if you use Peroxyl® for a long time or at high doses. These side effects should disappear when you stop using Peroxyl®. If you experience any untoward problems please tell your dentist or pharmacist.
