In case of problems, Auriel is a helping hand - a talkative artificial intelligence that does not leave the player even one step. One of the distinguishing features of this title is the refined audiovisual setting. The levels and animations are hand-painted, and the graphic style itself - humorous and very colorful. The projects of individual stages are also characterized by considerable diversity: on Entity we will visit both forests and caves filled with intriguing vegetation, as well as the ruins of ancient cities. The audio setting is also at a high level: the soundtrack for the game was created by two Czech composers, combining electronic and symphonic elements.

As mentioned, players control one of three predetermined heroes, each with their own story and character. However, by making decisions and performing certain actions during the campaign, we influence the ideas they hold (strength, art, order and anarchy). They change the way NPCs react to us and shape the world around us. The campaign puts a lot of emphasis on the player's choices: some of them affect the course of the plot and have serious repercussions. Fleeing from its effects, the unfortunates by the thousands are headed for the kingdom of Nostria, which, after many years of prosperity, is now on the brink of civil war. While playing, we play the role of three different heroes who, through their actions, will affect the shape and future of the kingdom. The gameplay in King's Bounty 2 is divided into two segments. In the first one, we travel through the three-dimensional game world, observing it from a third person perspective, as in many classic RPG productions. As mentioned, players control one of three predetermined heroes, each with their own story and character. However, by making decisions and performing certain actions during the campaign, we influence the ideas they hold (strength, art, order and anarchy). They change the way NPCs react to us and shape the world around us. The campaign puts a lot of emphasis on the player's choices: some of them affect the course of the plot and have serious repercussions. There are many difficult moral problems during the game, but also more down-to-earth concerns, such as building friendly relations with the inhabitants of the visited cities. The second segment of the game consists of turn-based battles, in which dozens of various opponents face our team of warriors, consisting of many different units (humans, elves, trolls, etc.). The maps, divided into hexagons, are more interesting than in the first King's Bounty, offering many previously unavailable tactical possibilities, e.g. due to the terrain. The combat system has been developed in a similar way: players have more types of orders and squad management options at their disposal.
