Story
Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic on the PC platform, AND etc. takes players to a fantastic land over which the specter of the imminent conquest by the forces of evil looms. Cultists called The Sons of Dawn have started large-scale recruitment - there is a fear that they intend to awaken ancient evil. As you can easily guess, the task ahead is to face the danger and fend it off before it turns Pixton Town to dust and spreads across the country.
Gameplay
Due to the specificity of the represented genre, most of the content of Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic is procedurally generated. This applies to the thirteen visited dungeons as well as random events in which we take part, as well as the equipment obtained during the adventure. The action is presented from a side perspective, and the game begins with composing a dream team of three daredevils who are not afraid of any threat. We can choose from thirty different classes . However, initially we only have access to some of them - the rest must be unlocked by meeting certain conditions.There are three campaigns to be completed and each of them ends with a different final dungeon and a fight with the final boss. The implementation of the entrusted mission is complicated by opponents who often stand in our way. In turn-based battles, we use melee weapons (axes, spears, swords, clubs), ranged weapons (bows, crossbows) and various offensive and defensive spells. To be victorious, you also need to skillfully juggle the special abilities of each character. It is worth remembering that death is permanent here - in the event of losing an important hero, we have no choice but to start the game all over again. A special graveyard allows you to view the tombstones of fallen heroes and analyze their statistics.
