Wooden Sen'SeY is an action-platformer, set in a unique "Japan Steam Rock" universe filled with humour. You follow Goro, a village chief, as he seeks revenge through a variety of levels. He will defeat his enemies using his axes to slice, dice, squash and grapple! Wooden Sen'SeY seeks to offer players a unique gaming experience, inspired by old school gameplay mechanisms, while incorporating contemporary technology and beautiful 3D graphics.
Story
The action takes place in a fictional version of the Land of the Rising Sun, in which elements of the Japanese Middle Ages have been combined with steampunk and rock style. We play the role of Goro - an old man who manages a small village. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of our subordinates have run out of SeY - a mysterious liquid with refreshing powers. Whether we like it or not, we have to go on an expedition to replenish supplies. Nine different levels await you to pass, among which we can find, among others a temple, flying ships, a cave system, and even the bottom of the ocean
Gameplay
During the search for the SeY source, we will meet many types of enemies, which we will deal with mainly with the help of two axes. Goro can also use shurikens, as well as chains with hooks on them. The last of these weapons is not only used to kill enemies, but also makes it easier to move around maps. The combat system is quite complex for a platformer and allows you to perform many types of attacks. The fun is diversified by underwater sections, during which we get into a small submarine.
