The Songbird Fascial Release Wax helps the massage therapist provide the right amount of grip into the connective tissue in order to perform an intense massage on a given individual. From this point the massage therapist will be able to manipulate it in a number of different of ways including; lengthening, differentiating and mobilising. The Fascial Release Wax leaves the skin feeling nourished, smooth, soft and silky which is conducive for simple application. Used nationwide by physiotherapy clinics and massage therapists. Formula includes: Beeswax, Arnica, Olive Oil, Calendula, Almond Oil Essential Oils of Manuka & Lemon and Hypericum.  Please note from 2021, Songbird have switched to the 100g cardboard Ecotubs, and the 100g plastic tubs have been phased out. These are bespoke, especially for Songbird, and to the best of their knowledge are a first for the sector. They are made almost entirely of a special grease resistant cardboard and are recyclable and biodegradable. However, there is approximately 1.5g of PVA glue which holds the tub together, so we cannot claim 100% compostability. We are looking at a compostable glue, but there is nothing on the market yet. The wax allows massage therapists to perform massage with ease as a result of improved grip and control whilst it can be easily washed of if so desired. Essential oils can be added to the formulation if needed to customise the massage experience to your own liking. Commonly used by sports physiotherapists for general maintenance massages. The essential Pimento Oil adds a touch of spice to the formula which helps create a gentle warming effect to relax the muscles. This specific wax is often seen as the softest of the Songbird wax range due to the citrus nature of the essential oils. Upon application it is soft and smooth, leaving the skin feeling nourished, moisturised, soft and silky. It provides the massage therapist with outstanding grip and control, which is essential when massaging key muscle groups such as the hamstrings and calf's. Essential Oils: Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit), Citrus sinensis (Orange) and Pimento dioica (Pimento). The wax has a characteristic lemony - leathery type scent which helps to invigorate both the body and mind.
