Tekirdağ Rakişi Gold Series Produced in the city of Tekirdağ in the European side of Turkey (from which the brand takes its name), Rakişi Gold is made using fresh grapes and aniseed. Tekirdağ Rakişi Gold has a renowned and characteristic flavour. This is due to the combination of fresh grapes, slightly higher aniseed content than standard Raki, and artesian waters of Çorlu which are used in its production. It is distilled in traditional copper equipment, and then aged in oak barrels - giving it a golden hue and distinctive aroma.
