Here he discovered the fragrant and citrus infused lemongrass. Lemongrass is popular throughout Asia, and when paired with another popular asian ingredient (Ginger) and select exotic herbs and spices Whitley Neill's Lemongrass & Ginger Gin is distinctive, fragrant, and has a delicious citrus taste. This is another of Whitley Neill's handcrafted gins which are all of exceptional quality. This flavour in particular is as rich as its ancestry. Along with the Lemongrass extract and Ginger, Juniper, Coriander Seed, Cassia Bark, Orris and Angelica Roots, Liquorice, Sweet Orange and Lemon are also featured. Serve with plenty of ice, 50ml of the gin, 150ml of the tonic water and garnish with a cooling slice of cucumber (helps cool the warming ginger in the gin), a basil leaf or two (which accentuate the lemongrass flavours), and a slice of lemon.
