Dead Island Retro Revenge is an old-school, side-scroll 2D fight, which is a spin-off to the popular series of first-person survival horror films, launched in 2011 by the native Techland line. The game was developed by the Empty Clip studio, specializing in conversion of third-party titles as well as arcade-music games (e.g. Symphony, Groovin 'Blocks). Released on the PC, XONE and PS4 platform, Dead Island Retro Revenge was prepared as a bonus for all buyers of the Dead Island: Definitive Collection package, which includes refreshed versions of Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. The action of the game is set in a world dominated by zombies, known for the full-fledged installments of the Dead Island series. While playing, we play the role of a classic muscle man named Max, who wants to take revenge on the villains who kidnapped his cat. As he traverses the streets of California, our protagonist faces a diverse host of enemies, including brainless undead, corrupt soldiers, and degenerate ex-convicts. Dead Island Retro Revenge is a classic side-scroll fighting game that evokes associations with such productions as Golden Ax or the unforgettable native Franko: The Crazy Revenge. During the game, we constantly move to the right side of the screen, beating everyone who stands in our way. In addition to the typical blows set for the genre, our hero can also perform extensive combos and collect power-ups that activate powerful special attacks. But that's not all, because in combat we can also use weapons and other items on the way.
