Story
The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia takes us on a journey to Rome. The city belonging to the Holy Church is in decline - its streets are ruled by lawlessness, and demons are trying to seize power over it. The latter is opposed by Ray Bibbia - an exorcist who, by stopping the satanic spawn from carrying out his evil plans, gradually discovers the truth about his dark past.
Gameplay
In The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia, the action is shown from a top-down perspective . During the game, we travel through various locations, talk to neutral characters and face ten bosses . Among the latter, we can find, among others, a crazy gangster, a dark maid or even the pope himself. In order to send enemies back to the other world, we have to show dexterity and avoid the projectiles they fire, as well as launch accurate attacks on our own. Interestingly, although the hero is controlled directly, all other activities are performed by typing specific words . In this way, we not only interact with the game world, but also fight opponents with the help of exorcisms; complicating matters is the fact that these incantations occur in both English and Latin.
