As a mechanical pre-filter, it protects the filter from rapid pollution and ensures long cleaning intervals for other filter media. JUWEL filter wool is made of fine, residue-free polyester material and is suitable for both fresh and saltwater. It comes in three sizes, 5 pieces per pack.
