Crush Your Enemies is a fun real-time strategy game. The game was developed by the Polish studio Vile Monarch founded by former 11-bit employees who played key roles in the production of Sleepwalker's Journey and This War of Mine. The authors did not try to develop an extensive and dramatic plot. Instead, they chose a comedy that made fun of the well-known patterns of the fantasy genre at every turn. The action is set in the magical and extremely boring land of Generia, full of brave knights, noble elves and gem-loving gnomes. We take command of a gang of evil barbarians, who decide to smash this idyll to pieces, impale their opponents, loot what they can and drink a sea of beer at the same time. In Crush Your Enemies, we take part in a series of real-time battles on boards composed of square fields. Using only basic orders, we send our soldiers into battle or order them to defend buildings, collect resources or increase the manpower of units with a maximum of 50 members. The game has a simple stone-scissors-paper rule, so we must make sure that the army includes not only melee fighters, but also archers, or supporting other wizards. Everything happens at a dizzying pace, so the time we spend on one match usually does not exceed a few minutes. As the campaign progresses, we also gain access to various items that, when used on the battlefield, generate specific benefits for our troops.
