Ski-Doo Summit SP 146 850 E-TEC '22 este constuit in jurul riderului, fiind un snowmobil agil, puternic si usor de manevrat, indiferent de experienta avuta in condusul acestui tip de vehicul de iarna. Motorul Rotax 850 E-Tec este cel mai puternic motor in 2 timpi din industrie, scotand cu 10 cp mai mult decat predecesorul (165cp in total), dar partea la care el iese in evidenta cu adevarat este cea de timp de raspuns. Cu un ambreiaj de tip pDrive, are un timp de raspuns cu 30% mai rapid decat 800R E-Tec, dand riderului un control instant asupra vehiculului. Platforma REV Gen4 este cea care da agilitatea gamei Summit prin centralizarea masei printr-un cadru piramidal, suspensie fata din aluminiu turnat si designul radiatorului care este solid, dar usor. Zonele de ventilatie laterale ajuta la circularea aerului in zona motorului pentru a asigura racirea si a optimiza functionarea. Suspensia spate tMotion realizeaza o flexie laterala, facand condusul si mai confortabil. Constructia ingusta, carcasa cu linii oblice, rezervorul, saua si ghidonul extrem de compacte, pozitia piciorului mai intinsa ofera mai mult spatiu riderului. Aerodinamicitatea vehiculului ofera o intalnire optima cu zapada, iar carcasa deschisa in partea din spate elimina acumularea de zapada care ar putea incetini condusul.
