After the funeral, the hero, along with two sisters and a faithful knight, decides to go to this place and take over the rule over it. Unfortunately, at the end of the journey it turns out that the entire domain is in a deplorable state. Ruins remained of the city of Ascalia, and wild nature took over most of the territory. To make matters worse, Kay is contacted shortly afterwards by an indicator saying that his family had incurred a debt long ago that had grown to enormous amounts with interest, and that we are to pay it back. During the campaign, the player's primary task is to restore the city's glory, as this will provide him with constant access to cash for development and debt repayment. By the way, we must discover what brought the domain to such a deplorable state. Gameplay The world created by the authors is inhabited by many independent characters with unique personalities and biographies. Through conversations and interactions with them, we shape dynamic relationships that affect the further development of the plot. In the game, we spend most of our time exploring the world, completing tasks and, above all, fighting. Battles are played in a turn-based system on maps covered with a grid of squares. Our team can consist of a maximum of five people, i.e. the hero plus four companions selected from the twelve gallery, which we can recruit throughout the campaign. All characters have unique skills that have a great impact on the course of the skirmishes. Interestingly, the game lacks health-regenerating spells and healing potions. Instead, we have to minimize the damage we receive by using shields, armor and field covers. Of course, the development system that allows you to improve the statistics and abilities of your characters has not been forgotten. In between battles, we deal with the development of the town. We have to build new buildings and improve existing ones, gather resources, improve technologies and ensure that the needs of the inhabitants are met. There were also options to establish diplomatic and trade relations with other nations and send heroes on independent missions.
