The 3M Speedglas SL Auto-Darkening Welding Filter (ADF) - 700020 is a replacement filter for the 3M Speedglas SL Welding Helmet Series. It is designed to provide optimal protection for the eyes and face from the harmful effects of welding, including ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation. The ADF features five adjustable dark shades (8-12) and a light shade of 3, as well as four levels of arc sensitivity. It also has a motion sensor that automatically turns the filter on as soon as the helmet is picked up. The ADF is compatible with most arc welding processes, including MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, and plasma welding.
