The Wireless Alerta Detect is a motion sensor that uses infrared technology and will activate an alarm once movement is detected within the beam's range. Most effective when positioned at a bedside or doorway the alarm will activate once a patient leaves their safe zone and breaks the infrared beam. This wireless detector helps to provide individuals with the freedom to safely use their own space, whilst assuring caregivers with advanced warning if someone does leave the safe area. This motion sensor can be battery or mains powered for flexible placement and has a low battery alert if it gets too low. Highly versatile, tt can be connected to a nurse call system through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver, or used on its own for localised alerts with the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only. N.B. The Alerta Sensaflex Heel Slope Mattresses are purposefully designed for those patients considered to be at a very high risk of developing pressure sores. Highly versatile, these Sensaflex Mattress are perfect for use within all hospital, nursing and care home environments. These Mattresses boast a memory foam filling with a high-density base, a memory foam top and a sloping heel section with gel-infused memory foam, therefore, ensuring ultimate levels of comfort and pressure relief. For enhanced pressure-relieving properties, the mattress is designed with a section of v-cut base foam which creates additional air movement. The 5000 option of the Sensaflex Mattress has an additional built-in side wedge support that prevents the user from rolling over the edge of the mattress, reducing risk of falling out of bed. Also provides anti-entrapment by preventing users limbs from becoming trapped in side rails. For maximum hygiene purposes, the cover on the Mattress can be laundered in a washing machine, up to 65˚C for no less than 10 minutes or 95˚C for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60˚C. The foam can be autoclaved at 134˚C.
