Apollo XPander Sounder Visual Indicator Clear and Optical Smoke Detector XPA-CB-14024-APO

Apollo XPander Sounder Visual Indicator Clear and Optical Smoke Detector XPA-CB-14024-APO

Apollo XPander Sounder Visual Indicator Clear and Optical Smoke Detector XPA-CB-14024-APOThe XPander Sounder and Sounder Base is wireless and designed to be used with XPander detectors and manual call points.OperationXPander sounders can be wall or ceiling mounted and use a bi-directional monitored radio platform to communicate. They feature 32 selectable tones including the Apollo tone and a self-test which causes a fault signal to be sent if the sounders fail to operate. The self-test feature is activated by a DIL Switch.Brand InformationXPander incorporates entirely new designs with respect to the wireless communication system. A Radio Interface is connected to the loop. It communicates with the control panel using the Apollo addressable two-wire power and communications system. The interface communicates with the detection and alarm signalling devices by means of radio waves. The detectors are multistate in that they report normal pre-alarm fire or fault states to the radio base which transmits the information to the interface. The detectors incorporate drift compensation and report any compensation limit occurring. The radio bases and signalling devices are addressable and use a pre-set analogue value to report via the XP95 or Discovery protocol. Apart from normal and fire the bases can send pre-set analogue values to indicate low battery detector contaminated detector tamper and low signal strength fault conditions.Key FeaturesWirelessBi-directional monitored radio platformChoice of 32 selectable tonesAudible self-test availableOutput is between 92 and 106dbA at 1m dependent on tone setting

Apollo Soteria Heat Detector Isolated SA5100-400

Apollo Soteria Heat Detector Isolated SA5100-400

Apollo Soteria Heat Detector Isolated SA5100-400TheSOTERIA Heat Detector features two heat sensors located laterally to ensure good heat detection in all orientations.Backwards CompatibilitySoteria detectors have been designed to operate on XP95 and Discovery loops. This allows for Soteria detectors and bases to operate on existing systems and for Soteria detectors to operate on XP95 and Discovery bases XPERT 7 Intelligent Mounting Base. It should be noted that not all features of Soteria will be available when used with XP95 or Discovery fire control panels. If Soteria detectors are used with XP95 fire control panels incorporating drift compensation algorithms these must be disabled when communicating with Soteria devices. When Soteria detectors are used with an XPERT 7 Intelligent Mounting Base on a CoreProtocol system Soteria devices will have a 128 address offset due to only 7 address pips being available on the XPERT 7 card. For example an XPERT 7 card set at 32 will address as 160 on CoreProtocol with Soteria detectors.Key FeaturesDual heat sensorsUtilises digital CoreProtocol communicationsCompatible with XP95 and Discovery systemsCompatible with existing fire control panelsMechanically compatible with existing basesAvailable with or without integrated switchable isolatorTri-coloured LED status indicatorPolycarbonate moulding for colour stability and strengthComprehensively tested to exceed EN 54-5 standardFasTest for quicker testing of detectorsXPERT card addressing or auto addressingLocking mechanism grub screwPlease Note Not all features are available when SOTERIA devices are connected to an XP95 or Discovery fire control panel.
