The Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game is a card game developed by Fantasy Flight Interactive studio. It is an adaptation of a traditional card game, published in our country under the title The Lord of the Rings Card Game.The Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game takes us on a journey to Middle-earth, a fictional world known from the books of J.R.R. Tolkien, and especially the Lord of the Rings trilogy. We will not find here typical clashes with other players known from Hearthstone or Gwent. Instead, we take part in a fictional game, trying to lead the three heroes through five complex tasks. We start the game by choosing a character and assembling a deck from the pool of available cards. Heroes fall into one of four categories: Knowledge, Spirit, Leadership, or Tactics. Each of them translates into different benefits for the party, which is why it is necessary to choose the right heroes and cards.After assembling the deck, the game randomizes one of the available scenarios, and offers many procedurally generated events and types of enemies. Thanks to this, the game will be slightly different each time. During the mission, we fight turn-based battles with opponents, drawing cards from the deck that summon creatures to the battlefield, cast spells, etc.like typical card games, The Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game does not offer any form of multiplayer competition, focusing on single-player mode. An additional attraction is the possibility of playing in cooperation with another player.
