The module interprets the RS485 serial data produced by the microphone and converts this information into conventional parallel terminations. This enables the BDM400 range of microphones to be retro-fitted to existing installations and also allows them to be used in new installations that do not have an RS485 system controller.The BDM400IF allows a BDM400 microphone to be retro-fitted to an existing system through a BMS25 termination unit using a 25way D type cable. In addition to providing a direct connection to an existing system the BDM400IF also provides extra terminations to access the enhanced features of the BDM400 range of microphones if required.

A voice alarm system MUST work when needed during an emergency such as a fire. Baldwin Boxalls voice alarm systems are renowned for their reliability and can be installed with confidence.There are two routers in the EVAS range the BVRD2M and the BVRD2M4 as well as slave router options. The modular style of the VIGIL2 voice alarm system offers great choice and flexibility. It is as suitable for small systems as it is for very large networked systems.Key FeaturesDSP control.Eight electronically balanced inputs. Inputs one and two are configurable with all call processor bypass and are normally reserved for fire microphones. All inputs have both independent priority and level settings.Up to fifteen priority levels are available. If two concurrent routes are set at the same priority they will be treated on a first come first served basis.
