C-Tec AFP711 XFP Network Communications Card

C-Tec AFP711 XFP Network Communications CardAn optional system expansion device for use with XFP 12 Loop 32 Zone fire panels. Allowsthe connection of up to eight XFP Repeaters or eight XFP Main panels any mix on an RS485 network. One AFP711 card required per networked Main XFP 12 Loop 32 Zone panel note that XFP510-16 and XFP510-32 repeaters include a network driver card as standard. The AFP711 is NOT compatible with XFP Single Loop 16 Zone panels which require a CFP761 card for networking.Key network protocol features when used for interconnecting XFP main panelsCan be used to connect up to 8 XFP main panels any mix over a two-wire RS485 network of up to 1KM in length. Each networked XFP can be programmed to accept Fires Faults and Control actions such as Silence Alarm Sounders and Control Panel Resets from other panels. Each XFP will accept Disablement commands for zones sounders and output sets from other panels. All panels monitored for network wiring faults.Fires and faults on remote panels are displayed on local panels including the point description.CEs can be programmed into local panels dependent on which remote panel is in alarm. The network supports the programming of site data into remote panels from a PC at a local panel.Time and date is common to all panels. All networked main panels require a network communication card.It is not possible to mix XFP main panels and XFP repeaters on the same network.Key network protocol features when used for connecting XFP repeatersCan be used to connect up to 8 XFP repeaters any mix to one XFP main panel.Up to 500m of cable may be fitted to an XFP two-wire repeater network. Each XFP repeater offers all the functions and controls of an XFP main panel. The XFP main panel must have a network communication card fitted. It is not possible to mix XFP main panels and XFP repeaters on the same network.

C-Tec BF560-12E Switch Mode 12v 2A Caged PSU PCBTheBF560-12E is apowerful switch modedigital hybrid PSU that can be customised to suit your exact requirements. The plasticcoveron PSU PCB guards against touching live parts to VDE 0100-410. Includes the same electronics as the BF560-12 LPCBcertified EN54-4A2 boxed 12V 2A PSU.Key FeaturesMetal base platefacilitatesstraightforwardmountinginside third-party OEMenclosures.Includes a single-pole voltfree changeover relay that switches for any fault condition.Includes afault type hazardous voltages present LED.Two selectable battery charge currents.Battery fault impedance limits can be optimised to suit load current helps extend battery life.Mains fail simulation mode.Improved on-board temperature sensor with optional remote sensor.Electronic functions comply with EN50131-6 grades 1-4 for security applications.Additional InformationEN50131-6 POWER SUPPLIES FOR INTRUSION HOLD UP ALARMS CAPABILITYThe BF560-12E has all the electrical functions required to comply with EN50131-6 Grade 4which includes Grades 3 2 and 1. OEM security companies interested in utilising the BF560-12E inside their own EN50131-6 compliant tamper-resistant enclosures should contact our marketing departmentfor further detailson costs and approvals.PSU CUSTOMISATIONThe BF560-12Ecan be customised to suit your exact requirements using a BF423 configurator PC. Configurable parameters include float voltage temperature compensation battery charge rate mA battery impedance and configurableInputOutput settingsPSU STATUS LEDlocated on the PSU PCB1 flash Mains Failure.2 flashes Battery Voltage Low.3 flashes Battery Voltage Critical.4 flashes Charger Failure.5 flashes Charger OK Battery is either actively charging or in float charge.6 flashes No Batteries Fitted indicating DIP Switch 4 position.7 flashes Battery Resistance Fault Level set by DIP Switch 2 position.8flashes Output Over Voltage.BATTERY FAULT MONITORINGThe BF560-12E monitors battery resistance to the requirements of EN54-4A2. The fault threshold is directly related to the ability of the battery to deliver the rated current to the load. For example batteries stored uncharged for long periods during shipment andor distribution degrade leading to increased internal resistance. If a degraded battery is fitted a fault will be shown by the PSU as mandated by EN54-4A2.DATA PORTData on the BF560-12Es status can be extracted from the PSUsbi-directional data port. The data availableincludes thermistor measurements battery terminal voltage system voltage at load terminals battery charge current load current battery impedanceandASCII text string status messages. Extracting this data requires additional equipment and permissions - contact C-TEC for details.
