A bright and striking popular Salvia Sensation is not to be missed! A striking perennial that hits all five senses; large flowers to feast your eyes on between June and August and wrinkly aromatic sage grey-green leaves to smell from March. The plant is compact yet intense in a rich deep blue colour so will fill the low spots in your borders yet catch your eye with its impact.  Newsworthy for those spaces in our garden that require a splash of colour, without adding too much work. Salvia Sensation Deep Blue is easy to care for and requires very little maintenance. A few things that keep it happy are sunny sheltered spots in the garden with moist but well drained soil, it’s an easy balance to find, usually in your borders in those gaps we don’t know what to do with. Once you pop it into its home, it will throw out plumes of colour all Summer long. Once the flowers fade, a quick trim, and it will flower again and again between June and September. If you miss the impact of this sensation, you can bring it indoors with beautiful cut flowers! Salvia Deep Blue is a perennial so will come back each year and is drought tolerant so a perfect little flower to pop in those places your hosepipe won’t quite reach.
