Electro Detectors 8 Zone Zerio Plus Control Panel EDA-Z5008The Zerio Plus is a compact radio fire alarm system designed for use in any type of commercial or residential premises. With the culmination of 30 years experience of fire alarm system design and manufacture the Zerio Plus has replaced the well-established Millennium and Zerio series of equipment combining the advantages and features of both systems. The installer does not require expensive additional equipment to configure the complete system.Once installed the control panel is used to aid system set-up program devices and to commission the system. The unit is fully configurable by the Zerio Plus panel which determines whether the unit is to operate as an A1S which has been 3rd party tested an A1R a fixed point or rate of rise heat detector. The latter options allow the operator the opportunity to set the temperature of alarm or sensitivity. A unique serial number and the length of time in service are stored in its internal memory.All data is retained in this non-volatile memory which is not corrupted or erased even should power be removed. A battery life of up to 7 years and continual monitoring minimise detector maintenance but sophisticated self-testing ensure confidence in detector operation. The Zerio Plus radio heat detector is fully compliant with the relevant sections of BS5839 and EN54 including Part 25.
