This side drum heater is specifically designed for melting or reducing the viscosity of products stored in metal drums that require aggressive heating or high temperatures for handling. Featuring a 0C to 120C or 20C to 220C controllable thermostat (digital option available), 4 metres of robust rubber power cable and quick release buckles for ease of installation and removal, this class II double insulated jacket provides industry recognised standards for handling products such as waxes, soaps, paints, chemicals and materials with high water content. As the element needs to effectively deliver heat to products which have a high level of thermal consumption, the jacket is constructed with an outer layer of silicone coated glass fibre for excellent thermal transfer and presents a great solution for maintaining consistently high application temperatures.
