Gamsol is a safe, versatile solvent that allows artists to utilise traditional methods without without compromising their work.
Able to clean brushes, palettes & more, Gamsol is an ideal choice for clean up due to it's lack of harmful vapours (this is also why it is popular amongst various oil painting classes & tutorials).
Whilst traditional solvents (and some non-solvent alternatives) will leave behind a residue after evaporating, Gamsol disappears evenly & completely.
Odourless Mineral Spirit (OMS)
Gamsol is 100% pure odourless mineral spirits (OMS), meaning that all harmful aromatic solvents have been removed, cutting down your exposure to vapours whilst working.
During a 3 hour paint session for instance, around 90% of a standard turpentine will have evaporated into the surrounding air, whilst in the same time, only 20% of Gamsol will have done so.
