Euphorbia 'Silver Swan' (PBR) (Pot Size: 1 Litre Pot)
As you may have guessed, we love our Euphorbias at Golden Valley Plants and always enjoy the sight of Euphorbia ‘Silver Swan’ on our nursery beds with its slightly more compact shape than the other euphorbias, and its usefulness for adding unique texture and colour to borders. Outstanding variegated blue-green foliage with cream edges that remain all year round and beautiful clusters of white and lime green flowers, sometimes sporting delicate red centres that emerge in the spring.
A perfect low-maintenance perennial, hailing from the Mediterranean; once it has been watered-in well and established, Euphorbia ‘Silver Swan’ is drought tolerant, making it great for a water-wise garden or outdoor containers. Its compact, mounding form adds rich colour and texture to gardens.
Pair it with silver-foliage plants like Senecio and lamb’s ears, or with the striking Japanese painted fern (Athyrium metallicum) and ornamental grasses such as Pennisetum and Miscanthus. For a bold contrast, plant it alongside white and cream flowering plants to enhance ‘Silver Swan”s stunning silvery tones.
This resilient variety thrives in various soil types and flourishes in full to partial sunlight, making it a versatile and adaptable choice for any garden.
