Rain can be batted away in this highly waterproof coat, which also benefits from a hood which can be adjusted using the drawcord. Sturdy but not restrictive, Lewis allows all the running around required in a school day without feeling bulky. Safety is always an issue as the days darken, so the addition of a reflective stripe on the front and bottom back sections of the coat are welcome. Machine washable, the smart charcoal grey coat has a contrasting red piping whilst four pockets, two of which can be safely buttoned, add security. Durable, snug and functional the Lewis is smart enough to work as an all-rounder outside of the classroom and copes as well on coastal strolls, woodland walks or fun with friends, as in the classroom.
