Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! Partly organic Products with this label have an organic content of at least 25%. This might be fabrics with organic cotton mixed with other fibres. Get ready for your next partyDo you need to sew a party dress - maybe even with a matching bow tie or sash - for the next party? Or are you in the process of designing your confirmation dress but need the perfect blank fabric to bring your design to life? Party satin - or duchess satin - is a great choice: Its bright colours and elegant drape give you plenty of options for creating festive dresses, shirts, tops, bow ties, vests and trouser suits.   And if you want it all to match, you can also sew a small clutch to go with it. A little more about this satinMade from 100% polyester, this satin has a nice drape and the classic satin look in a variety of colours. The fabric is 145 cm wide, has a weight of 150 grams and shrinks about 1% in the wash. You can machine wash it at 40° - remember that it should always be hang-dried and only ironed at low heat. TIP: Avoid water and water-based markers - they can leave small stains (same goes for hand cream!). Instead, use tailor's chalk to make markings. Always make a test on a small piece first, then draw on the back. And - while we're on the subject of water - never use steam on satin as it can leave water stains and the high temperature from the steam can change the lustre of the fabric. But you can also use the bias tape for some extra details in your design – maybe the edge of the dress or the pockets on the shorts need some cheerful dots?     The bias tape is 18 mm wide, made from 100% cotton, and comes in a pack of 5 metres.     Use bias tape for…   Sew bias tape on blankets and bath towels. Use it on dresses, shirts, and blouses – and for baby clothes and bodysuits. Let the bias tape serve as fine details and beautiful finishes on edges and cutouts.     Worth knowing about bias tape  Bias tape has the (almost) magical ability to adapt to many fabrics. It is – as the name suggests – cut on the bias and thus naturally follows your curves, necklines, corners, and edges. It provides a beautiful finish.     How to sew on bias tape  Bias tape is for sewing onto curves, corners, and straight stretches. When you sew the bias tape onto your project, sew with straight stitches at approximately 2.5 cm stitch length. As you sew, do not pull or stretch it. Let it align naturally along the edge to achieve a neat finish.     TIP  When you start sewing your bias tape, fold about 2 cm inwards, so it's double-layered. When you finish, tuck the other end's fold over your initial folded start. The same principle applies when you extend a bias tape.
