Woven oilcloth red

Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! All our oilcloths are free from harmful chemicals. With a purchase of 10 metres or more of the same product number, the oilcloth is delivered rolled up on a tube.

For example, sew a puffy bag or tote bag that you can use for everyday and on special festive occasions. You can also choose to use the shiny fabric as a lining in your project; it adds a beautiful finish. And then, of course, you can use satin for clothing - for example, a nice satin shirt, a pair of cool satin trousers or maybe a jumpsuit with a drawstring waist. The fabric has a width of 135 cm and shrinks about 3% in the wash. It can be washed at 30°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Use good quality fleece and interfacing to stabilise smaller parts like collars and cuffs. We recommend ironing it on before cutting out the pattern pieces - and remember to iron without steam (water can leave small stains and the high temperatures from the steam can change the surface of the fabric!) Polar fleece red

That means it's perfect for lining a jacket or a nice, fluffy vest, for example. This is how easy it is to make a fleece blanketChoose the colour and cut the blanket to the exact size you want and voila: you have a new fleece blanket. It doesn't get any easier than this. And yes - it's good enough - you don't need to sew the edges; the material won't run. If you want to give your rug a nice finish with a sewn edge, we recommend using jersey needles, which are specially developed for qualities like this. They penetrate the fabric easily without leaving holes. Or how about making a reversible blanket or vest with two different colours of fleece - double up on warmth, softness and use. Fleece dries quickly, is robust and durable and therefore very easy to bring along, for example as extra blankets in the caravan. Practical information about polar fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need. Great for sports This material is comfortable to wear and offers maximum freedom of movement. This means it's brilliant for all kinds of sports, so you can confidently start sewing sporty leggings and tops for your own and others' active pursuits.  And if you're more into water? Then the black variant is your go-to. It's chlorine-resistant, making it suitable for swimsuits, bikinis, and swim shorts.  And great for everything else We've covered the sporty designs, but you can also use this fabric for everyday and party wear for both adults and children. Leggings for a party, a beautifully draping skirt, or an elegant top.  The possibilities are endless – just get out the sewing machine and get started.  A bit of practicality This fabric is made of 92% polyester and 8% elastane. It measures 150 cm in width, and you can expect it to shrink by 6% when washed. Choose the length you need for your DIY project. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80.

Strong and luxurious quilting thread, made of 100 % Egyptian cotton. It is mercerised, i.e. it has been pre-treated to strengthen the fibres. Mercerised thread is soft and glossy. This ensures that you can achieve a really nice finish when quilting or doing patchwork. It is a good idea to wax the thread with paraffin wax (item number 41031). Waxing ensures that the thread glides more easily through the fabric, e.g. when you quilt by hand. Our quilting thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified.

Overlock thread red 5000m

Premium quality overlock thread in 100 % polyester, suitable for use with all overlockers. Overlock thread is slightly finer than regular sewing thread. An overlocker works differently than a sewing machine. Overlocked seams are stretchier. While an overlocker sews with one or two needles and two loopers, a sewing machine sews with an upper thread and a lower thread that lock together between the fabric layers. In overlock stitching, two threads wrap around the edge of the fabric. Essentially, overlock stitching creates a seam and binds edges at the same time. Due to the special overlocker technique and threading, overlock thread is available on 5000 m cones. Our overlock thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified.

Duchess satin red dull

Get ready for your next partyDo you need to sew a party dress - maybe even with a matching bow tie or sash - for the next party? Or are you in the process of designing your confirmation dress but need the perfect blank fabric to bring your design to life? Party satin - or duchess satin - is a great choice: Its bright colours and elegant drape give you plenty of options for creating festive dresses, shirts, tops, bow ties, vests and trouser suits.   And if you want it all to match, you can also sew a small clutch to go with it. A little more about this satinMade from 100% polyester, this satin has a nice drape and the classic satin look in a variety of colours. The fabric is 145 cm wide, has a weight of 150 grams and shrinks about 1% in the wash. You can machine wash it at 40° - remember that it should always be hang-dried and only ironed at low heat. TIP: Avoid water and water-based markers - they can leave small stains (same goes for hand cream!). Instead, use tailor's chalk to make markings. Always make a test on a small piece first, then draw on the back. And - while we're on the subject of water - never use steam on satin as it can leave water stains and the high temperature from the steam can change the lustre of the fabric. A classic and stable velvet with a matt surface that is ideal for small, creative projects like cushions, toiletry bags, handbags and other accessories. It is incredibly soft; in fact, even softer than our shiny upholstery velvet.

Lovely, high-quality thread made of 100 % polyester. The thread has high elasticity. It is core spun, which means that it is compact and durable, and sheds little fibre. You can use it for backstitch but it's also great for larger projects sewn on an overlocker. The 1000-metre spool is efficient on a sewing machine. You can use it for a long time without having to re-thread your machine. The sewing thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified and available in a sea of beautiful colours.
