Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - The Deluxe Edition is a streamlined version of the title originally released for portable consoles. Brand owner, Warner Bros. Interactive decided that a few months after its debut, the game will also hit stationary consoles, available in digital distribution.
Story
The plot of the game continues the threads presented in Batman: Arkham Origins. The players will get to know the next adventures of Batman from the period before he became the Dark Knight. The action takes place in the eponymous Blackgate prison located on an island near the city of Gotham. The Bat-Man is called upon to quell a revolt initiated by the villains imprisoned there.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - The Deluxe Edition is maintained in the style of the so-called "Walking" brawl. The player observes the action from the characteristic side view of the camera, while the characters can also move in the third dimension to a limited extent. The game focuses on three aspects: exploring locations, fighting enemies (including board bosses) and interacting with NPCs and elements of the environment. During the game, the hero controlled by the player can use various items and gadgets in the Batman's equipment (batarang, rope launcher and others). The creators also did not forget about the special gameplay options known from the previous installments of the series, such as the predator and detective modes, which have been adapted to the changed genre convention.
