Apollo XPander CS Heat Detector and Mounting Base - XPA-CB-11171-APO

Apollo XPander CS Heat Detector and Mounting Base - XPA-CB-11171-APO

Apollo XPander CS Heat Detector and Mounting Base - XPA-CB-11171-APOThere are two heat detectors in the XPander range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. A static heat detector CS responds only when a fixed temperature has been reached and a Rate-of-Rise Detector A1R which has a fixed upper limit but in addition measures the rate of increase in temperature.Brand InformationXPander incorporates entirely new designs with respect to the wireless communication system. A Radio Interface is connected to the loop. It communicates with the control panel using the Apollo addressable two-wire power and communications system. The interface communicates with the detection and alarm signalling devices by means of radio waves. The detectors are multistate in that they report normal pre-alarm fire or fault states to the radio base which transmits the information to the interface. The detectors incorporate drift compensation and report any compensation limit occurring. The radio bases and signalling devices are addressable and use a pre-set analogue value to report via the XP95 or Discovery protocol. Apart from normal and fire the bases can send pre-set analogue values to indicate low battery detector contaminated detector tamper and low signal strength fault conditions.Key Features WirelessCan be used in applications where smoke detectors are unsuitableIdeal for environments that are dirty or smoky under natural conditionsCS detectors are ideal for use in the environments with rapid temperature fluctuations such as boiler roomsBi-directional monitored radio platformFiveyear battery life using standard AA alkaline batteries

Ziton ZR451-3 Radio 868Mhz Input Output Unit with Battery Pack

Ziton ZR451-3 Radio 868Mhz Input Output Unit with Battery Pack

Ziton ZR451-3 Radio 868Mhz Input Output Unit with Battery PackThe ZR451-3 is a wireless 868 MHz single channel inputoutput unit. It provides a method of interfacing a supervised input or potential free output signal into and out of the fire detection and alarm system in areas where the installation of system wiring is not an option. The systemThe ZR451-3 communicates with the main control panel via a hardwired radio loop module that can be installed anywhere on the ZP loop. When the input gets an alarm signal it passes it via the radio loop module to the main fire control panel where it is processed. The output of the interface provides volt free change over contacts for connecting ancillary equipment and is programmed separately activated individually on in a group.High intensity LED indicators positioned on the ZR451-3 may be illuminated by a manually activated push button to identify when the interface has operated providing clear identification of the signal source.Installed as part of a ZP addressable system up to 127 line devices sensors call points or interface units may be connected to each of the control panel loops. Each wireless device is assigned its own IDENT address with which the main control panel communicates with it providing the same system facilities as directly wired devices.UsageAs an input the ZR451-3 may receive signals from other alarm equipment e.g. beam detectors aspiration detectors etc. Used as an output the unit switches equipment controlled by the fire detection system e.g. air conditioning systems magnetic door release units etc. Both input and output facilities are available from the same unit and may be operated simultaneously or individually as programmed at the fire control panel.Power supplyThe ZR451-3 is powered by 6 Duracell AA MN1500 LR6 alkaline batteries providing up to 5 years of operational life under normal site conditions. The ZR451-3 features battery condition monitoring and reporting.Key FeaturesAddressable inputoutput interface unitWire free activationVolt free relay outputMonitored input for fire and faultTwo way radio communication

Ziton ZCR452 Conventional Wireless Dual IO Unit

Ziton ZCR452 Conventional Wireless Dual IO Unit

Ziton ZCR452 Conventional Wireless Dual IO Unit with Battery PackThe ZCR452 is an interface between a conventional fire detection zone and a range of wireless 868 MHz field devices. It provides a method of interfacing a conventional system with a zone of wireless field devices in areas where the installation of system wiring is not an option. From the conventional interfaces the ZCR452 relays all signals wirelessly to a ZCR868-C wireless cluster communicator that in turn controls a complete zone of wireless detectors remote indicators manual call points inputoutput units andor audio visual or audio visual notification devices. Any abnormalities from the wireless field devices such as faults alarms device removal low battery etc. are relayed back from the cluster communicator to the ZCR452 where they are converted into basic conventional signals that are interpreted by the conventional interface and relayed and displayed on the fire system. The ZCR452 allows for any compatible conventional fire detection zone to be connected directly to the unit. The ZCR452 in turn provides fire and fault notifications from the wireless field devices to these conventional circuits. In addition any conventional notification circuit may also be wired to the ZCR452 allowing wireless notification devices to be controlled from the conventional notification controller in a similar way to any hardwired conventional notification device. From the conventional interfaces the ZCR452 relays all signals wirelessly to a ZCR868-C wireless cluster communicator that in turn controls a complete zone of wireless detectors remote indicators manual call points inputoutput units andor audio visual or audio visual notification devices.
