Vent-Angel Ventilation Fire Safety Unit

Vent-Angel Ventilation Fire Safety Unit

Vent-Angel Ventilation Fire Safety Unit Product Part Number Vent-Angel Fire Safety Unit - QV-VA-21 Description The Vent-Angel is suitable for domestic homes and apartments and connects to any domestic fire alarm and will in the unfortunate event of a fire will remove the power supply to any type of Ventilation unit. The Vent-Angel unit can also control mains powered fire dampers, Purge fans or other devices The Vent -Angel is simple to install and comes complete with a discrete wall mounted control panel to test and reset the system. Why Use a Vent-Angel If a fire breaks out there is a possibility that any system that supplies fresh air could further cause the fire to intensify and spread. If even a small fire breaks out the smoke will enter the ventilation unit’s ductwork that could be very costly to remove any contaminants and smell. Control Panel The Vent-Angel includes a Test / Rest switch plate which would be mounted remotely in a location that has easy access (i.e. Hallway, Utility room), the switch plate also has LED operational indication. i.e. the Test push button with be illuminated Green under normal running conditions and the Reset push button will be illuminated Red in the event of a fault. The Test / Reset switch plate will also allow the system to be tested by pushing the TEST button. (It is recommended that this test is carried out twice yearly), to Reset the system press the RESET button, this action is also required if the system has been activated. Please ensure all Smoke/Fire Alarm issues have been resolved before activating the Vent Angel system. Vent Axia Lo-Carbon Solo Plus HT

Vent Axia Lo-Carbon Solo Plus HT

Vent Axia LO-CARBON SOLO PLUS HT Product Part Number Vent Axia Solo Plus HT - 427479 Description Long Life Ventilation The Lo-Carbon Solo Plus range from Vent-Axia has been specially designed for through the wall and ducted applications, suitable for internal bathrooms, toilets and other small rooms. Finished in white, the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus can be flush or surface mounted, with a 2 position 100mm circular spigot for rear entry or connecting to a vertical ducting system. The powerful centrifugal impeller allows installations using 100mm ducting in straight runs, whilst still achieving 15l/s as required by Building Regulations Approved Document F. Continuous running products, such as the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus, installed in all wet areas of a dwelling are classed as a wholehouse ventilation system and therefore only need to move the amount of air as outlined in table 5.1a and 5.1b of Building Regulations Approved Document F. The Lo-Carbon Solo Plus has an adjustable boost speed which is set at installation variable between a wall or duct setting for boost/override operation to meet Building Regulations thus ensuring minimum energy usage and low sound levels. All models have an optional speed for constant trickle ventilation (12l/s), selectable at installation. Depending on the model, the fan will switch from trickle (if selected) to boost via the pullcord/light switch/humidity sensor/PIR. All models can be wall, panel or ceiling mounted and can be connected to either circular, rectangular or Vent-Axia’s flat ducting. Enclosure of the electrical components is manufactured from flame retardant grade material.

DucoBox Silent UK MEV Unit with Humidity Sensor

DucoBox Silent UK MEV Unit with Humidity Sensor

Part no: 0000-4490 DucoBox Silent MEV Unit with Humidity Sensor The DucoBox silent Uk is a high quality MEV unit that extracts continually from the kitchen and bathrooms to one central unit to provides a quiet and efficient ventilation system Demand controlled with an internal humidity sensor that will automatically increase the speed to lower high humidity levels Manufactured in Belgium and developed with double wall construction to provide the quietist MEV available in Europe With a high performance of 400 m3/hr. this unit is ideally suited for high quality new builds or high-end renovations with up to 7 extract points The DucoBox silent has 7 x125mm connections and 1 x 125mm outlet With the optional Q-V adaptors this unit is also suitable with the use of up to 7 x 90mm crushproof radial ductwork connections with antibacterial lining that will lower the installation time and comply to the latest building control regulations BPC are MEV specialists and the original developers of MEV kits in the Uk and Ireland with lifetime technical support on our top-quality systems   Demand Controlled Ventilation Historically, MEV-units used to run continuously: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At a single set speed This was deemed to be “ok” so the energy losses were deemed to be small. DUCO feels that this “old school”-way-of-thinking is a thing of the past and decided to go a step beyond the “normal” operation mode of a “traditional” MEV system. DUCO offers true “on demand” solutions which result in true energetically optimised ventilation solutions: To only ventilate, when necessary, where it is necessary and as long as it is necessary! The DucoBox Silent has an internal humidity sensor that detects high humidity and increases the performance until the set level is reached again It is also possible to install a CO2 box sensor inside the DucoBox Silent UK With an “on demand” DUCO-system, the occupant can always be assured to breathe the best possible indoor air, whilst also using the least amount of energy! DUCO brings you the SMARTEST ventilation solutions! Silent Plus Kit The Silent Plus Kit provides additional acoustic damping of up to 3 dB(A)! The kit consists of three acoustic composite foam pads and three acoustic caps that are placed into the predesigned inserts inside the unit  Quiet-Vent adaptors The Quiet-Vent 125 to 90 adapters allow you to connect the 90mm radial pipe directly to the unit avoiding the use of a distribution box that will provide many benefits over using solid rigid ducting Up to 7 number 90mm radial ducts can be used on the unit This option will reduce installation time over solid rigid duct, reduce cost as there is no need for a distribution box, and comply with the latest building control requirements  Fault Indicator With the optional wall mounted fault indicator, you can be notified by colored indicator light when a fault is detected (max one per unit)  Boost switch A boost switch will allow the user to manually increase or decrease the speed, there is a manual 2 speed and 3 speed switches available Only one boost switch is recommended per unit and if the speed is set to high it will override any sensors and remain at that speed till manually reset to a lower speed A boost switch is required to commission the unit
