The Vent-Angel unit can also control mains powered fire dampers, Purge fans or other devices The Vent -Angel is simple to install and comes complete with a discrete wall mounted control panel to test and reset the system. Why Use a Vent-Angel If a fire breaks out there is a possibility that any system that supplies fresh air could further cause the fire to intensify and spread. If even a small fire breaks out the smoke will enter the ventilation unit’s ductwork that could be very costly to remove any contaminants and smell. Control Panel The Vent-Angel includes a Test / Rest switch plate which would be mounted remotely in a location that has easy access (i.e. Hallway, Utility room), the switch plate also has LED operational indication. i.e. the Test push button with be illuminated Green under normal running conditions and the Reset push button will be illuminated Red in the event of a fault. The Test / Reset switch plate will also allow the system to be tested by pushing the TEST button. (It is recommended that this test is carried out twice yearly), to Reset the system press the RESET button, this action is also required if the system has been activated. Please ensure all Smoke/Fire Alarm issues have been resolved before activating the Vent Angel system.
