Roses - Weeping (3/4 Standard)

Roses - Weeping (3/4 Standard)

A range of coloured roses with long arching branches that weep and trail like water fountains. Named after the largest waterfalls in the world, Utigord Falls Weeping Roses are originally a rambling rose that can be used as a ground cover. However, by training the young shoots upwards using a stake, it is possible to create these sprays of colour. Flowers are small, at around 4cm in diameter, but they are abundant. Our Weeping Roses are sold in six colours; orange, white, yellow, pink, red and salmon. Roses are grown for their breathtaking beauty. It is genuinely poetic and artistic to watch a rosebud slowly open and bloom in your own garden. And with blooms that come in every colour of the rainbow, you’re certain to find a rose that matches your garden’s style and palette. Second only to their beauty is their scent, which varies from plant to plant, but can bring a new level of sensory interest to you garden. Jelly Palm (Butia Capitata)

Jelly Palm (Butia Capitata)

Butia Capitata is a brilliant ornamental palm perfect for the British garden or indoors. The plant itself is native to South America, particularly Argentina and Brazil. Jelly Palm leaves are not shaped in a circular fan like many other palms but instead take on a more oblong outline, forming arcs rising and falling from the trunk. Because of its interesting shape, the Butia Capitata has become popular as an ornamental, specimen plant; creating a relaxed sense of the tropical. The plant itself has been used for many years to produce fruits that have been used to produce cocoa. The plant is hardy at H5 and only needs sheltering in an extreme cold snap. Minimal pruning is only necessary if you feel the plant really needs it, otherwise no mainteance is required. It is pest and disease free.
