Heliopsis Funky Spinner
Flashy, layered petals seem to never end on the unique and memorable blooms of these 'Funky Spinner' heliopsis. Commonly known as the 'False Sunflower', these are herbaceous and hardy perennials that form in clumps, whether planted in pot, beds, or borders. The true show comes from the large, golden-yellow flowers that erupt for months from summer to autumn, each boasting a characteristic dark red eye. The bright blooms only standout more as they contrast so well against dark, almost black, foliage. What's more, these flowers are a delight for attracting friendly pollinators, thanks to the mass of nectar produced, leaving any garden teeming with buzzing wildlife during the warm months.
