Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is an FPS released by Activision Blizzard, representing the best-selling cycle developed since 2003. The title is a kind of reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series, the first part of which debuted in 2007. While the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are the work of Infinity Ward, the PC edition was prepared by the Beenox team.
Story
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare takes place in 2019. Some missions, however, are a flashback and take place several years earlier. Players take on the role of three main characters - a CIA operator, a British policeman and a guerrilla leader - who made a desperate attempt to find a stolen chemical weapon. During various missions, we visit various corners of the world - from metropolises like London or Saint Petersburg to the regions of the Middle East in the fictional country of Urzykiistan.
Gameplay
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is played from the first-person perspective. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lets you play the role of the Tier One operators as they are taking on dangerous missions that could change the global balance of power. Missions will be very diverse, giving you the opportunity to both sneak behind the enemy lines picking targets one by one from a safe distance or confront opponents face-to-face in close-quarter encounters. During your missions, you will have a wide array of equipment and weapons ready at your disposal. Each weapon behaves naturally and authentically, giving you a much deeper feel and a better impression of actually shooting it. It was possible to achieve thanks to the cooperation with veterans of SAS, CIA and Navy SEALs who shared their valuable knowledge and experience.
Game Modes
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a multiplayer mode and a campaign mode. It allows you to fight duels with other players, as well as to cooperate as part of specially prepared operations in the Spec Ops mode. New are large-scale battles with vehicles, helicopters and 64 players on a single map. Interestingly, experience points gained during the game are common to all modes. It is worth noting that the title supports cross-platform gameplay between personal computers and consoles.
