The Evil Within 2 is a continuation of the successful survival horror The Evil Within. As in the case of the first part, Shinji Mikami, the author of the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil series, worked on the two. Dark and gloomy storyline The main character of the game is detective Sebastian Castellanos, known from the first part, who after the death of his daughter Lily falls into alcoholism and depression. However, he soon discovers that his child did not die in a house fire, but was kidnapped. So he sets off on a journey to the seemingly idyllic town of Union. This is where a new alternate reality was created using the hero's daughter. In order to regain it, Sebastian must leave the real world and go on a journey to a nightmarish dimension, constructed by the Mobius group. The game gives the player many means of eliminating numerous different types of hideous and equally terrifying enemies. If you want, you can kill the creatures using heavy, firepower or use quiet weapons like crossbow if you prefer a more subtle, stealthy approach.
